Go with the Gary Friedman book. Well worth the $25 (or so). It’s HUGE too. I printed it in color, double sided x11 and it takes a 3-inch binder. “Gary Friedman, that also is a member here (Sony Camera Group), I’ve just downloaded the a77/a65 book and can’t wait to start reading it. The excellent series of books for Sony Alphas has been updated to include the Sony A65 & A This is available as a download at the moment.

Ive had mine for over a year an love it. Saw this on ebay thinking about getting it, pretty much know my way round my camera but wondered if this books any good? I have a number of other publications on the Sony Alpha and they just assumed I knew more than I did.
The Friedman book is a really good read and covers almost everything you could wish for. Will be looking to see if it was worth the money, looking forward to the feedback. But part of it also are these useful features that the E-mount bodies don’t feature: It’s an indispensable tool for any owner of an a77 or a If you bought the first edition, as I did, you should have got an email with a link to the updated version.

There is no better way to learn about and friddman the most out of your camera. If you do loose it do you have to pay for another copy?

Sony should PAY him and bundle this book with their cameras This book comes highly regarded as THE source of information on your A Overview Discussions Photos Members Map.
I also loved the tips in the “Cookbook” that you e-mailed to us. The more you do the better they will be. I thank you heartily for having brought to Sony users such a wonderful guide.

You a5 just taken a big chunk of anxiety out of my learning curve! Small Sensor don’t laugh I’d prefer to download it onto my iPad,which I believe is possible with Friedman’s.
One nice thing, he shows you what default settings he uses for everything, and why. It will sport a 36 megapixel APS-C sensor with expanded dynamic range and autofocus point!!! Just to let you know, it’s a really good way to learn more about your SLT’s friecman an experienced photographer.

Another GFA book and it’s great, another home run! Best money I ever spent on a “how-to” book. Your book is very clearly written, and your spiral approach to teaching will prove to be an easy way of learning in friedmam the many topics you include.
Very, very, informative and written in a way anyone can understand. Yours is a gem.

Purchased and now printed out. Many cameras today include built-in image stabilization systems, but when it comes to video that’s still no substitute for a proper camera stabilization rig. I have the Gary Friedman book for A77ii.
By chapter three I wasn’t regretting it. I allready had the a book and have just added the a77 first thing I looked for was Garys book it saves so much time being able to draw on his brilliant experience.
