Book Review: Transpo Tricks in Chess by Andrew Soltis
I couldn’t tell you anything about this book because I completely lost interest in it. Soltis, however, reveals that white has an energetic reply that transposes into a favorable line ni the Alapin Sicilian. Soltis’ book, like the dictionary, isn’t the kind of work one reads from start to finish. He is not playing like he or she normally does.
Within each chapter, Soltis discusses dozens of variations. In the first book devoted to chess transpositions, New York Post columnist and acclaimed chess author Andy Soltis shows how this strategy works over the board. No trivia or quizzes yet.
